Delivery Policy

Cedar and Needle packages and ships orders 1 times a week. Depending on your location, the shipping times will vary. If there is any problem with your order (e.g. product not in stock), you will be contacted by e-mail.


Shipping within CANADA:

Within Canada, all packages are shipped via Canada Post. Estimated delivery is within 3-7 business days for most addresses. Shipping and handling  to most locations in Canada is $14.50 CAD. Your order will be shipped via the most economical method. Depending on the weight of your order, it will be either shipped letter mail or expedited mail.  **Please note that for remote areas, extra charges may apply. **

Shipping to the U.S.A. (excludes U.S. territories and possessions):

Orders to the U.S.A. will be shipped via the most economical method. Estimated delivery is within 5-15 business days, excluding any time that your package may be delayed in Customs. The shipping and handling charge is a flat rate of $18.50 CAD. If you would like faster delivery, please contact us for details and pricing. ** Please note that for remote areas or for particularly heavy packages, extra charges may apply. You will be contacted by email if this is the case, prior to shipping. **

International Shipping (Outside of Canada & U.S.A.):

Our international shipping rate is $38.00 CAD. Please note this is for SURFACE shipping and does not include tracking. Surface shipping means it will ship by boat and can take up to 12 weeks.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees:

Shipping and handling charges do not include any customs fees or duties or taxes placed on the package. These charges are the responsibiity of the purchaser. Customs forms will be filled out with the actual total cost of your order and with an accurate description of the products ordered.



Please note that Cedar & Needle does not take any responsibility for lost or stolen parcels. We will gladly provide any tracking information that we have for your parcel and aid you in launching an investigation with Canada Post or other carrier for your parcel. However, we cannot reimburse you the cost for any lost parcels or re-send you your fabric. As such, if you would like Cedar & Needle to purchase insurance for the contents of your parcel then please email us that request and we will invoice you for the postal insurance.


We only offer returns on pre-cut bundles, NOT on cut fabric, unless we have made an error on your order. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us by email within 7 days of receiving your order to let us know the reason for your return. Please note that any product returned must be unused, undamaged, and in its saleable, original condition. There are no returns, exchanges or refunds on special orders, printed patterns, downloaded patterns, gift cards or books.If we have made an error with your order, we will gladly pay for the cost of return shipping. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order so that we may correct the problem for you in a timely manner. Your happiness and satisfaction with our service is important to us.
